Check-In / Check-Out

  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Check-in is from 4:00 PM onwards. Check-out is by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.

  • Can I check in early or check out late?

    Unfortunately, early check-in and late check-out are not guaranteed subject to availability. Our check-in system is preprogrammed to issue keys from 4:00 PM to allow for thorough cleaning between stays.

Access & Key Collection

  • How do I access the apartment?

    You will be provided self check in instructions 3 days prior to arrival, please make sure you read them carefully before arriving to ensure a smooth check-in.

  • Is there a reception?

    All apartments are self-catering and there is no on-site reception. If you require assistance, please contact us on +353 (0) 87 412 7456.

  • What if I arrive late at night?

    Our check in is available from 4pm onwards, it’s self-check-in so it’s not affected by your arrival time.

Parking

  • Is parking available?

    Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces are subject to availability.

Facilities

  • Is Wi-Fi provided?

    Yes, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available in all apartments.

  • Is there a washing machine?

    Yes, all apartments are equipped with a washer-dryer

  • Are towels and bed linen provided?

    Yes, fresh towels and bed linen are provided for your stay.

  • Is there a TV?

    Yes, the TV in each apartment is a Smart TV. It does not provide standard terrestrial channels. However, guests can access streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube and other apps directly through the TV.

  • Is there a kitchen?

    Yes, all apartments are equipped with a full kitchen including fridge, oven, microwave, kettle, and basic cookware.

  • Is there air conditioning ?

    No, air conditioning is not provided. However, fans are available upon request.

  • Is there hot water at any time in the apartments ?

    Yes you can use hot water at any time in the apartment. Water is heated overnight between 4:00am and 8:00am. There is also a boost function available at any time should additional hot water be required during the day. The hot press is located behind the designated door in the apartment, where you will also find instructions on operating the timer.

  • Is housekeeping included?

    Mid-stay cleaning is not included for short stays, but can be arranged for an additional fee.

  • Is there a coffee machine?

Policies

  • Are pets allowed?

    Unfortunately, pets are not permitted in our short-term apartments,  unless it’s a guide dog (documentation may be required to confirm)

  • Is smoking allowed?

    All apartments are strictly non-smoking. Fines may apply if this policy is violated.

  • Cancellation policy

    Free cancellation available 14 days prior to arrival

  • Who do I contact if I have an issue during my stay?

    You can reach us on +353 (0) 87 412 7456 during office hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00am–3:00pm). Calls outside of these hours are redirected to our out-of-hours reception team. We are also available via email at info@galwaylakesideapartments.com, WhatsApp and our social media platforms.

  • Invoices

    If you require an invoice, please provide your preferred email address and we will forward it to you after your stay.
